The Event
We would like to invite you to participate in the Hybrid and Eco Friendly Vehicles Conference. The event will take place in the International Manufacturing Centre at Warwick University on Wednesday 18th and Thursday 19th May 2011.
This is your opportunity to influence the future of Hybrid and Eco-friendly Vehicles. The event will bring together Academia, Industry and Government to consider all of the issues associated with ensuring a successful future.
The key objective of the event is to raise awareness, stimulate debate and formulate future strategy through a combination of presentations and workshops. There will be an indoor and outdoor exhibition of technology and service by providers who will display products, services and research & development activities relating to this expanding discipline will also be a feature.
To enable networking in a more informal atmosphere included into the delegate rate is an invite to Warwick Castle for a 5 course Gala Dinner and night of medieval entertainment.
- 2 Day Delegate rate including evening gala dinner is £249 plus VAT
- 2 Day Delegate rate excluding evening gala dinner is £199 plus VAT

Call for Papers
Authors wishing to present a paper are asked to submit an extended abstract of no more than one page. This abstract must be in English and should clearly reflect the contents of the final paper. In addition, a 100 word executive summary is required which will be published with the event timetable. Abstracts should be submitted electronically, in PDF format, and full details are available on the HEVC11 website.
Who should participate?
Authors are invited to submit papers and/or workshop titles on a broad range of topics that may include the results of research, the outcomes of policy, the application of technology, the integration of novel solutions, or the implementation of services or strategy.

The Venue
The University of Warwick is located in the heart of England, adjacent to the city of Coventry - 3 miles (5 kilometres) from the city centre.
The event will take place in the International Digital Laboratory (building 26) and the International Manufacturing Centre (building 28)
