The Transport Knowledge Transfer Network organised an event to help support the development of consortia for the Integrated Delivery Programme competition 6 (IDP6) and the recently launched Battery Reuse and Recycling feasibility study competition. The IDP 6 competition covers both “Highly Innovative Strategic Technologies” and “Disruptive Technologies” for Low Carbon Vehicles, funded by the Technology Strategy Board.

The seminar helped to stimulate consortia building for both collaborative research projects and feasibility studies, in support of the delivery of technologies for low and ultra low carbon vehicle applications.
The morning sessions explained the details of the competition, and addressed the innovation challenges in these key technology areas.
The afternoon sessions orientated towards showcasing technology opportunities and included a 'speed-networking' session for consortia to come together.
