On 18th January 2011, a second competition was launched as part of the wider Low Carbon Vehicles innovation platform. The Technology Strategy Board will be investing up to £500K in battery reuse and recycling feasibility studies. Project costs are expected to be no more than £100K in total, attracting grant funding of up to £75K.
A networking event to facilitate consortia building for both competitions has been organised by the Transport Knowledge Transfer Network at the University of Warwick on Thursday 3rd February.
