Fleet carbon reduction seminar

Register as a visitor at LCV2010 www.lcv2010.co.uk to take advantage of the free seminar in which Cenex is focusing on the fleet operator community. This seminar is designed to bring together the fleet operating community, and provide an interesting and thought provoking opportunity to engage with how operators are approaching vehicle fleet carbon emissions reduction. Three operators, one OEM and CENEX will share experiences.

  • Royal Mail will present on their carbon reduction challenge, their analytical process for deciding which low carbon technology to apply where and when and past and future plans

  • Transport for London (Invited) will present on the Hybrid bus trial in London, the reasoning behind the choice of technology, the planning of the trial and the outcomes required

  • Coca Cola will present on company carbon reduction goals and challenges, their decision process to commence a BioMethane trial, desired outcomes and next steps

  • Iveco will presented on products available for lower carbon operations, reflecting on the choices that are made when introducing low carbon vehicles and will comment on the trials they have been involved with from an OEM point of view.

  • Cenex will present on Cenex’s involvement in low carbon fleet trials and learning’s.

Cenex will also be launching two items:

1)     Free of charge guide (40-50 pages) to be distributed to the audience discussing fleet carbon reduction (Analytical approach, technology guidance, case studies)
2)     A new simulation tool commissioned by Cenex to aid prediction of the impact on vehicle carbon emissions and vehicle whole life costs of integrating new low carbon vehicles into an operational fleet.
