This TSB event focuses on bringing SME’s in the automotive and motorsport sectors together, to demonstrate their capabilities to each other and find new customers in the SME, OEM, and Tier1 sectors. The event will appeal to engineers and decision-makers in the OEMs and supply-chain to find new technology providers to help them meet the demanding requirements of future Low. NVN will be exhibiting and is supporting the event.

The Fleetworld event offers fleet decision-makers the opportunity to test drive a wide range of new cars and vans on a number of different race track scenarios. This year sees the event split the Grand Prix circuit in two, with the National circuit for faster laps, and the International Circuit for road speed drives. Cenex will be exhibiting at the event on stand B16 in Hall 2, promoting their previous work with fleets and explaining how they can aid reducing carbon emissions in fleet operations.

The Energy Saving Trust and the Welsh Assembly Government are holding this first event of its kind in Wales and will showcase the progress of low carbon vehicles in Britain. Cenex will be exhibiting, highlighting work in the programme department and promoting the LCV event.

Cenex supported the event, with Adrian Vinsome (Interim Director of the Transport KTN) on the Steering Group.This two-day conference brought together delegates and exhibitors from across the UK and Europe to network and explore ways of bridging the gap between local and regional policy priorities and technological innovation. Key themes covered included: congestion; urban mobility; safety in transport; multimodal and modal shift; and low carbon vehicles.

The Low Carbon Truck trial, co-funded by the TSB, DfT and OLEV, set out to demonstrate low carbon truck technologies in real-world settings and, as well as priming the UK with a series of open access and third party access gas refuelling stations, will provide a body of evidence to support fleet and government decision making in support of the UK low carbon agenda. The trial is set to deploy over 350 low carbon trucks and over 25 refuelling stations.This event, held at the Heritage Motor Centre (Gaydon) allowed for consortium members to discuss their current findings and learn from each other’s experiences of the project, as well as share their work with members of the low carbon community.

Cenex hosted its 5th annual Low Carbon Vehicle event on Wednesday 5th and 6th September 2012 at the Millbrook Proving Ground. The event had a registration level of 1,864 delegates and was well attended by government and industry bodies. Over 100 companies exhibited at the event with a large selection of vehicles available for ride & drive on the 80 miles of tracks at the venue.

Cenex hosted its 4th annual Low Carbon Vehicle event on Wednesday 7th and Thursday 8th September 2011 at Rockingham Motor Speedway in Corby, Northamptonshire.2008 aimed to help promote a strong industry led economic recovery by bringing together the key automotive industry stakeholders to showcase their capabilities in the field of low carbon vehicles and fleet carbon reduction. It also hoped to stimulate market demand through building fleet operator and consumer awareness and confidence in accessible or near market products for future procurement.
