Solar and energy professionals will discover the latest about how solar, energy storage and energy management connect, providing cost effective, low carbon solutions to the benefit of commercial and residential end-users.Dr. Sikai Huang - Technical Specialist at Cenex – will be attending Solar & Storage LIVE where he will speak about the benefits of combining solar generation with vehicle to Grid technology. Sikai will cover charging technologies, charging infrastructure, the strategy to installation and battery modelling. Sikai has in-depth experience on conducting technical and economic feasibility studies related to the utilisation of electric vehicles, as well as the consequent effect on energy demand. He also explores the possibility of utilising EVs as a measure to manage peak-demand in the national grid, and the effect of integration with renewable power sources, such as PV and wind. The full title of Sikai’s presentation is “Maximising the benefit of solar generation using electric vehicle as distributed energy source via vehicle-to-grid technology”.
