What are the criteria for funding?
- The application for the grant must be made and accepted before the investment
- Grants are awarded following successful assessment and allocation of funding by an independent private sector led board
- The refuelling station must be open for third party access
- The refuelling site must be based in the UK
- Dispensing attachments should be consistent with industry accepted vehicle attachments with relevant health and safety standards

Who is eligible for funding?
- Organisations interested to install refuelling or recharging stations for vehicles can apply for a grant toward the cost of the installation; private or public sector applications are welcome
- Firms of all sizes are eligible to apply
- Any company registered outside the UK is eligible for aid with respect to investments carried out in its UK stations

How are the grants calculated?
- Grant of up to 50 per cent of the eligible cost is available for natural gas / biogas and hydrogen dispensing equipment
- Grant of up to 50 per cent of the eligible cost is available for electric recharging points

What costs are eligible for gaseous and liquid fuel stations?
- Investments in equipment - compressors, storage units and dispensers of liquid and gaseous fuels
- Construction and civil engineering costs

What costs are eligible for electric charging points?
- Capital cost and civils
- Installation and signage of a conventional single or three phase electric charging point
- Connection to electrical supply
