Electric Vehicle charging point equipment installed on-street or in public and private car parks is eligible for match-funding under the Plugged-in Midlands scheme*
If you are interested in installing charging point equipment on a street or in a car park accessible to the public or visitors there are two easy options availble to you:
- Use the Buy for Good charge points procurement framework set up by Cenex and Birmingham City Council. This framework contains seven charging point suppliers that all provide equipment that meets Plugged-in Midlands requirements. - Use your own procurement procedures for charging point equipment. Please note that Cenex and CTB will require written proof that you have competitively procured equipment and installation. Please register your interest in becoming a charging point host here.
