Funded by the Technology Strategy Board, the Low Carbon Knowledge Transfer Network (LC KTN) provides a single national overarching network for the UK low carbon automotive community. The LC KTN aims to promote collaboration, best practice and knowledge sharing by bringing together a variety of stakeholders, including businesses (suppliers and customers), universities, research and technology organisations, the finance community and other intermediaries.
The KTN combines:
- A web portal providing technology, market and policy-related content on UK and international developments – www.lowcarbonktn.org.uk
- Networking events to bring together communities in order to promote technology transfer and innovation
Cenex acts as the steward and project manager of the LC KTN. Working with its delivery partner SMMT Foresight Vehicle, the LC KTN will build on its newly-released automotive technology roadmap to provide further academic and industrial collaboration through its consortium brokerage activities. It will further widen its outreach to network across the wider KTN portfolio as well as broadening its activities across the transportation sector.
