Delivering the Low Carbon Transition: Vehicles, fleets and mobility


A three day residential programme for senior managers and policy makers with responsibility for transport, vehicles, travel and logistics from the public and private sector.

9th-11th December 2014, Loughborough, UK


Providing the knowledge and skills to enable the transition to lower carbon mobility: reducing cost and carbon in vehicle use.

Learning outcomes:

  • Able to deliver a green fleet review with knowledge of current and future technologies
  • Able to work with partners to develop the external infrastructure required to enable low carbon transition to take place
  • Knowledge of EU compliance requirements for carbon reduction in vehicles
  • Able to identify partners and funding to deliver change


The programme will incorporate interactive workshops, experiential learning and expert seminars. The course will also include a half day opportunity to test drive a range of ultralow emission vehicles and an introduction to low carbon fuels and recharging infrastructure technology held at Formula E HQ, Donington Park race circuit.


The course fee is €400 and includes workshop activities, ultralow emission vehicle test drives, visit to Formula E, accommodation costs, refreshments and meals. Participants must pay their own travel costs.
