Cenex-LCV Event celebrates 10 years at the forefront of low carbon vehicle innovation

Loughborough, UK – 3 November 2016

The Cenex-LCV Event (www.cenex-lcv.co.uk) is pleased to be celebrating 10 years as the UK’s Premier Low Carbon Vehicle Event. Taking place at Millbrook Proving Ground, Cenex-LCV2017 will be taking place on 6th and 7th September 2017.

With over 3,100 attendees at this year’s event, Cenex-LCV2016 achieved a 10% total increase in visitor and exhibitor attendance compared with LCV2015; and an impressive 245% increase compared to the very first event in 2008 which had 897 attendees. With a steady growth of attendees, exhibitors and vehicles on display, the LCV Event has truly become the ‘must-attend’ event within the low carbon vehicle community.

Over the past 10 years, the LCV Event has attracted UK and international visitors, distinguished speakers; cutting-edge vehicle technology, notable vehicles available for ride & drives; and an extensive seminar programme which has provided a platform for educating and agenda setting. With the addition of the LCV Networking Dinner in 2014, the event has certainly earned its reputation as the place to meet key contacts from across the low carbon vehicle community.

Robert Evans, CEO of Cenex said, “We are very pleased to announce that LCV2017 will take place on the 6th and 7th September at Millbrook next year.   It will be the 10th in the series of LCV events and we are looking forward to celebrating the 10th anniversary with our friends and colleagues from the UK and international low carbon vehicle community.”

Alex Burns, President of Millbrook said, “As the leading independent vehicle test, validation and engineering service provider to customers in the automotive, transport, petrochemical, defence and security industries, Millbrook is the ideal location to host the UK’s number one low carbon vehicle event. We are looking forward to hosting and exhibiting at LCV2017, and to celebrating its 10th anniversary.”
