Completed Energy Audits for Phase 2 of the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS) are due to be submitted by the 5^th of December 2019 and with fleet and transport operations being included within its scope, it’s not too late to get started.  ESOS is a mandatory energy assessment scheme aimed at UK large undertakings, and their corporate groups, with the objective of identifying ways to reduce their energy consumption through audits of the energy used by their buildings, industrial processes and transport operations.

During Phase 1 of ESOS, Cenex delivered over 25 transport specific ESOS audits for a variety of fleet and transport operations, including chilled transport, urban bus operations, long distance haulage, regional courier delivery and company car fleets.  Our audits identified a range of potential energy saving measures that could be implemented to save energy, fuel and total cost of ownership.
