Zero Carbon Lab: helping local authorities turn Net Zero ambition into action

While hundreds of cities and regions have announced ambitious climate targets, many are struggling with ‘HOW’ to take action at the speed and scale needed. In response, Cenex and a group of leading knowledge and design partners – each bringing experience and insight to key parts of the net zero challenge – have created the Zero Carbon Lab (ZCL).

With case studies and workshops on innovative business models, and a policy insight series, ZCL will help inform local authorities on how to translate their net zero ambitions into action. For more info about ZCL click here.

Showcase your net zero projects

ZCL’s Knowledge Hub, launching in December, will pull together case studies from projects around the UK to demonstrate how local authorities and businesses are advancing to net zero.

The case studies will help hub visitors learn from the experiences of others: what works, what doesn’t work, the challenges faced and how to overcome them. They will also look at how projects can be joined up to most effectively deliver against local authorities’ overall plans, and deliver the transformational change we need to achieve net zero.

If you have experience implementing projects that help to achieve net zero, which you think might be suitable for inclusion as a case study on the ZCL knowledge hub, please contact Miranda Larbi.
