Motability Operations announced today that it has sponsored access to Cenex’s National Electric Vehicle Insight and Support (NEVIS) service for all Scottish local authorities (LAs) for one year. 

All 32 Scottish LAs can now access reliable, independent and up-to-date information to improve the EV infrastructure in Scotland and help ensure it’s ready for Motability Scheme customers to make a smooth transition to electric. This builds on the successful distribution of anonymised information through NEVIS on the location of around 700,000 Motability Scheme customers in England and Wales last year and brings the number of LAs registered on NEVIS up to over 260.

The latest distribution of modelling, mapping and guidance is supported and steered by an advisory group consisting of key Scottish stakeholders to ensure it aligns with the wider range of existing services and support for LAs in Scotland.

Any Scottish Local Authorities NEVIS can self-register to view and download the information directly from the service, as well as access insights on the anonymised location of Motability Scheme customers.
